Study

Pathological physiology integrates the knowledge from theoretical subjects and connects it to the clinical studies.

Pathological physiology studies the causes of the diseases (etiology) and the mechanisms of disease development and progression (pathogenesis) from the molecular to the organ and systemic level. This knowledge is essential for the proper diagnosis and treatment of the diseases.

The required extent of knowledge for the final exam is determined by the textbook, the content of lectures and seminars, and the list of examination questions. The pathophysiology lectures and seminars do not cover all the examination questions. We expect students to apply knowledge gained while studying other subjects. Also we expect students to acquire part of the knowledge by studying individually.

We wish you success in the study and we are ready to help you.
