Research

The research at the Institute is dedicated to the basic biomedical research. The main topics are functional genomics and proteomics, experimental hematology and blood stem cells, study of the causes and mechanisms of diseases, iron metabolism. Computer models of physiological and pathophysiological mechanisms are developed in the Biocybernetics Lab.

The research is tightly connected to the Postgraduate study.
